I have a browning A-Bolt TCT/Varmint in .308. The magazine will not accommodate Federal Gold Medal Match 168 grain ammo as it is to short. Does anyone have a fix or solution for this? I just purchased rifle, base, scope, rings, brass, bullets, dies, etc.... and I'm a little frustrated. It has a 1 in 10" twist for heavier bullets but they won't fit in the damn magazine.... I mean this is the Gold Standard ammo for .308??? Help please.
Hey how's it going? Sorry to hear about your magazine issue. As far as I know I don't know anyone with a similiar issue with there a-bolt as you do. I am assuming that the magazine is factory and do you have the same issue with other ammo or just the federal gold? I will do some digging around to see if any of my buddies with a-bolts have had any similiar issues.
