I took my 1939 out today. Shot my first round of skeet and sporting clays of the year. It was also the first time shooting the 39. I think somebody might have had the trigger lightened because it seems light to me. The other plus is those ugly looking roll crimped shells worked pretty well. I had to set the rings for light loads so it wasn’t a single shot. Shot a 43 on sporting clays and a 21 & 20. Not my best shooting but it was good to be out again.

Sometimes it’s about just shooting a nice gun and the fellowship of the game. Any day shooting( breaking or not) is better then not shooting.

I had good company today. My son wanted to go with. I never take him because I do most of my shooting on league nights. He loved pulling for me. Best part was him helping pick up the hulls
