Does it make any difference which choke i have fitted to my 12 G to fire slugs. I recently boughth a pump that had interchangeable chokes, i only use the full choke for hunting and was wondering if it was safe to fire slugs through the full choke, is not what should i use. Thanks.
You really can use any choke up to a full to shoot slugs. I tend to use the choke with the least restriction that I have for them though. Some will certainly argue that slugs can run choke tubes but I am still up in the air about that. Ideally if you have a rifled barrel with riffled slugs you will get the most accuracy out of your shotgun.
