I've been posting on this forum for a few years, but I never took this mandatory step, so here goes. A few years ago I bought an old Auto-5. It was filthy, but they don't come apart too easily so I had to do research. The markings stamped all over it were another mystery. Which led to more research, and a fascination with John Browning's masterpiece. Posting and answering questions here keeps the details fresh in my mind. And I'm always learning something new. Apart from collecting and shooting Auto-5's I've accumulated quite a collection of rifles and pistols. But it's the shotguns that see the most use.
