New member from the Roaring Forties. Can you hear me up there ? The good lady wife has owned a breakdown 22 for decades. It's got the War Department arrow branded into the wood, so that means it was "Borrowed" by the New Zealand government during WW2. Thank you for letting me in, I have plenty of questions to follow up with.
Thank you for the welcome folks. SHOOTER13. I'll try and insert a photo (No promises). The story with this photo is that after 30 plus years of having hot brass bounce off her wrist, my good lady wife requested that I find an alternative. I got a second hand 10/22 and Chopped and Channelled it. This photo was taken so her brother could see what we'd been up to. I'm a Toolmaker and like to tinker, though I have never touched the Browning, scope and silencer thread added before I met her.
