Hi James here , just got a new browning x bolt , after a few years I finally got around to having some spare money and within that time I went back and forth wanting a variety of brands and calibers , tikka, kimber , Remington, howa etc etc. anyway me and the mrs went in to a local outdoor store with intentions to walk out with a synthetic stock and stainless barrel. We looked at everything they had and comparing apples with apples.It was the browning x bolt hunter in 308 Winchester with the walnut stock , the quality and feel was all there nice duratec finish all over . Also had it fitted with a vortex viper 4-16x44 . Went and stretched the budget a bit further as ya do but really happy with it all and it earns its spot in the safe .
