Thank you. Just fired the first shots through it today. 50 rounds of the following brands, CCI, Aguila, Federal & Remington Thunderbolt (all inexpensive stuff). 200 perfect roads fired, couldn't be happier. Wanted to try several brands to confirm what I've read, the Browning 1911-22 will shoot everything & it did. Adapting to the GI type sights was probably the most challenging aspect, but I worked through it.
Yea...the sights are minimal but correct to the original Browning design. I've been thinking about picking one up myself... can you tell us where you got it and ball park price....!?
I picked mine up at a local gun shop (Highland Armory), ordered it from their web site in coordination with their distributor - $530 (retail $599).
