I just purchase a .223 BLR from Buds and after 2 weeks am still waiting for them to ship it. That's frustrating because after the shipping time, I'll still have to wait on my 10 day background check in CA. It will actually be my second Browning. I have my Dad's old A-5 dating from the 1950's, but I don't shoot shotguns anymore. Most of my collection are Ruger's (rifles and handguns) and Henry's. I'm also a reloader and shoot very little factory ammo. I looking forward to working up loads for this rifle. Hopefully, I can come up with a load that works well in it and my Ruger .223 GSR. I don't hunt, but just enjoy getting out and punching holes in paper and getting good groups.
