I know that this is a Browning site, but today, my Winchester 101 Presentation Grade Grand European came in, and I was curious what year it was made. Any ideas? If anybody can look this up, let me know and I will PM the serial number. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Rob, this is my go-to site to date guns. The 101 is listed, along with two prefixes, PK for Pigeon and K for everything else. Yours seems to be in a special category and may not be listed. Thank you, Rudolph. Unfortunately, that is my go-to as well, and could not find anything on it. I am going to call Winchester in a few, and speak directly with the archivist. Hopefully he has something deep down in his records vault that Winchester for some reason has not made public. I will keep you posted, and will stick some pics up in a few. Again, thank you!
