Ive been looking at a few websites and I just don't understand all of the numbers and letters.. Could someone please be able to tell me how old my gun is?

pp designates that it was produced in 1988.
n43 reflects a conventional stock.

thanks...its in very good shape..did it say the exact model of it? it seems to have raised ribs which would make me think its a trap grade. also it has ported barrels

No, unfortunately there is not a designation for what model Citori you have within the serial number. You can, however, contact Browning and they can tell you more information about it. Based on what you are saying, it sounds like a sporting model, since it has ported barrels- but that is just a guess. Post some pics when you get a chance.
