    Hey guys

I wasnt getting on too well with the favorite Auto-5 at clays, and a couple of weeks ago I spoke to a shooting instructor at my local clay club. He determined that the length of pull was too short and comb height too low making me miss the birds frequently. Anyways we fitted a beartooth comb raiser and a Pachmayr slip on decelerator but pad on the gun and today I tried it out.. WOW what a difference! I managed 73 x 100 on a sporting layout which is very good for me, its made a massive difference to the gun and my shooting. What was important is that all of the modifications are non-permanent as I want to keep the gun stock and unmodified but its turned it from a safe curio that comes out now and again to a serious clay buster! I hope JMB would be proud that 81 years after the gun was made its still getting used and bringing a whole lot of fun and pleasure to its current owner!

Dont look the prettiest but it does the job!

Indeed so Shooter13. I normally use my Perazzi double for clays but this is a whole lot of fun!

I may need to try one of those. I have a full choked A5 that shoots low.
