I have a Semi Auto 22 only number I can find is on Barrel: 79843 I can't find any other numbers other than: 22 LONG RIFLE SMOKELESS. Appears also: FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE . HERSTAL-BELGIQUE. BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE. That's all I can find, not finding serial number anywhere, any ideas?

Thanks, been on all those sites, number on barrel certainly is not serial number, just can't find any other numbers anywhere on the receiver sides or bottom.

F N made the S A 22 in Europe from 1914 to onward out side of the war years until 1956 I think. That was the first year of Browning labeling by FN were made for the US market...
