Interesting 22LR round. That's it on the right. 60 grain bullet (!) looks like a torpedo stuck in a 22 short case. They DO cycle quite nicely. Has a cute little (scale?) muzzle flip as an added benefit. They tumble when shot from a short barrel, but still hit the target. This is my preferred self-defense round in the 1911-22.

It shoots nice. I wonder how good it is for the pistol though. It really does have a (scaled down) recoil with the SSS.
A better round for self defense is the CCI Segmented rounds. Upon impact the round breaks into 3 pieces. Pretty devastating little round. This is what I carry in mine.
