Off hiking in "Green Mountains" close my place today with Mrs Aussie. Sub tropical rainforests and waterfalls. Kids having 21st get together party tonight with some friends over so keeping well clear for 24 hrs and getting some sleep at a motel.

Spending some valued one on one time with your boss will help strengthen respect and build the relationship......
Top that with some public customer dumbass interface at the counter for 2 weeks and you will be a new man....

Early start work rehearsing some big lift crane simulated machinery breakdown recoveries. Testing various lift plans.

Finished repairing the duck blind on my boat last night. Took it off and put on the bimini for fishing season. Just mounted a new scope on my Browning Hi-Wall .45-70, 2 - 10 Burris Signature HD and bore sighted it. Ordered a set of scope caps from Midway, Burris doesn't sent caps when you buy a new scope from them. Bummer

Sitting on the front porch drinking a PBR. Unfortunately my little buddy isn't sitting by my side anymore. My 9.5 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever died about 10 days ago and I keep thinking she is still around. I still wake up at 5:30 to feed her, walk the same trails we walked when she was a pup, still finding claymores in the yard, still look down to make sure I don't step on her when I get up..

It's really amazing the symbiotic relationship you end up having with a dog. Enjoy your time with them, it goes faster than you think.

Shot a couple rounds of trap with my son's Winchester SX-4 this afternoon. Pretty decent semi-auto, definitely a 50/50 gun. Very light compared with my Auto-5. Although I do miss the auto load, its was just not worth the extra $800 or so in the Maxus for him.

Afterwards, drove to the archery range and sighted in the Ravin crossbow out to 40-yards. Like different loads in a gun, different bolts seem to have thier tendencies also.
