Hi all, I joined the club to get some feedback on my Browning Gold Hunter. I generally use this for turkey hunting and absolutely love the gun! Needless to say I was sick
I have stripped and re- blued the barrel 2 or 3 times now using a Casey blue kit, and although I apply a light coat of oil to it,...

Just wanted to share a quick video I put together over on my YouTube channel The Hobby Gunsmith — it shows an easy and safe way to remove surface rust from a firearm using nothing more than 0000 steel wool and a bit of gun oil.

A lot of us have run into rust issues, especially on older guns or those that haven’t been out of the safe in a while. This method has worked really well for me over the years — no harsh chemicals, no special tools, just a simple, no-nonsense solution....

Bought this light 20 and speed load isn’t working as it should. The shell hangs about 1/2 its length out of the magazine and won’t transfer up to the barrel unless i push on the bottom of the shell lifter. I’m thinking it could be a weak magazine spring - can anybody tell me if that would fix the problem please? Unfortunately the gunsmith i’ve used for auto-5 problems has retired and i haven’t been able to find a competent replacement in the area - figure if anybody's gone “practice” on my gun...
