I want to install a red dot sight (haven't determined which one yet). Browning sells a scope mounting base (item #12328) and after doing some searching, most retailers are out of stock and others think they're made of gold.

Can someone here with experience with this pistol tell me if there's an alternative mounting base that will work?
However, after reading a number of reviews and watching some videos, I've seen a number of reviewers (some pretty reputable), saying that there are some reliability issues. Specifically, FTF's due to build up on the feed ramp. People were saying that they needed to clean the feed ramp every 50-60 rounds to avoid this. It wasn't a huge failure rate...
