I called Browning about a Browning case for the Hi Power and all they had was a molded case for the gun. It came in yesterday and was not sure that I wanted to store the gun in that case. What do you think about the gun laying on plastic in the safe? Or should I put it in a gun rug?

Shooter13 I have never seen those before. Have do some research and that might be the ticket. I do have a de-humidifier in the safe.

They work for me KnotRight...as I never store any of my handguns in their clamshell cases with that foam that just seems to hold moisture like a sponge next to the metal.

I use the types with foam linings, but I line them with the anti-rust paper from Brownell's. Have never had a rust problem.

  7. Get a Golden Rod and install it into your safe. Hang handguns up in there and problem solved.
