Is it normal for the ejector on a Browning 1911-22 to be bent downward near the front end? Brand new, an hour old, never shot .Photo attached.
Just bought a new one. Took it all down, polished the sear and squared the hammer ledge and moly'd everything. Much better trigger now and yes, my ejector looked just like yours. Scared the heck out of me when I noticed it, glad I saw your post. Chopped off the tab behind the trigger and now I can drop the hammer without the mag but I still have to press the mag release to insert it
