What I wan't ultimately is for anybody that reads or follows is to bring it up with their buddies and spread the word of mouth education at their range or club or round the camp fire.
Share of how bad and out of control things can get for gun owners if Government Powers are unchecked and what happens when you have no way toe push back.
Use this trail as a factual experience to refer too for the good of all law abiding gun users around the world.

Appreciate the support extended as it's a long game battle. Guess if you don't join the charge and are lazy, then you accept the consequences of loosing your freedoms.
Rest assured if this kind of stuff isn't stopped in its tracks here in Woke World Down Under the next legislation tightening strangle will be aimed at something new like Archery or Golf because somebody got bashed or used a golf club in a home invasion.
Or it will be your not allowed to take your car and park in the city on a Sunday for coffee catch up with family unless you have surplus carbon offset credits for the CO2 used to drive in or renewables power credits for the energy used to m your coffee......

Well an update on proceedings in Woke World Down under....... Some good news. Three States now have pushed back against the Feds levering for National Draconian Firearms approach.
Now the outside political party One Nation is just 3 percent off passing the standing woke Government in polls. That's a metric rise from 6 percent to 28 percent in 2 months.
People have had a gut full and pushing back at record displeasure.
Best bit is new player is pro gun and happy to unwind the gun legislation BS that's been railroaded in.
    My god there is hope..

Following the world wide trend being seen in France, UK and what happened in Japan this week, politics and views in Australia are suddenly following suit and at a frantic pace never seen or experienced before.
The open display stomping heads of Gun Owners and Users in front of the whole world as scapegoat by the standing Government, along with the so called Opposition caving in and siding to create rushed BS legislation was just the fuel the fire in the background needed to get going and the Third player has been simmering in background and now able to capitalise.
Essentially Australian public has finally and suddenly woken up and now realises their individual pursuits and way of life and what your allowed to think and do was being manipulated. They are now voting with their feet and leaving in droves.
There are some State elections this year 2026 and if the displeasure momentum continues this pace the new Third Player will suddenly be in control of two States.
Two months ago this would have been a dream

Well this mornings efforts have been centred on making a State Parliamentary Bill Public Submission. Was able to do on line and becomes official tabled input and feedback read before a Parliamentary sitting in review of recently adjusted bill on " Fighting Antisemitism and Keeping Guns Out of Hands of Terrorists and Criminals Amendment Bill 2026"
How's that for a mouth full and blanket coverage of a subject.
In fact credit due as my State did a really good job and showed common sense by taking time and assessing the landscape before making any move and actually consulted groups and industry to gather facts.
This resulted in very few adjustments to the existing laws and legislation. Anything done was positive and well supported and received by gun users, owners and public.
Smart move by the State as they have avoided the huge backlash sweeping the country.
Interestingly the State carried out and enacted things against their own general views and national party policies. Given their national entity badge brand has suddenly become the least influential player in Australian Politics the distancing from the "Uniparty Mothership" was probably grasps of survival from Badge Brand collapse.
State here always made it clear from day one in Dec 2025 they would take time out and received lot of Political Flack from anti gun and other Uniparty.
The State here has actually done good job on things here last 2 yrs clearing backlog mess from previous Left Woke administration who were ejected leaving a disaster and debt.
Gun people have been appreciative of the State go it alone approach but with the overall rising sweep of the New Player " One Nation" unless they form coalition against Left and join they will be swept aside and collateral damage even though doing the right things because the national Branding is weak and disjointed in rest of Country.
Stay tuned I may get a call to testify as witness to the Parliamentary Hearing

Well bit more update on the scene. Appears the State of South Australia has now made it official they are not following suit with the Federal Administration and leaving existing laws and legislation in place
That's in direct contradiction to the Party policy stance. Re election must be on their worried mind and they are scared. Do anything even roll over in grass to try get some votes back.
It seems the third player entering the soon to be decided election race and suddenly becoming the polls potential popular winner has really put the cat amongst the pigeons.
There is certainly plenty of mud sling and character assassination going on.
This now means three of the States have stood ground and said get stuffed to Feds with a fourth still deciding.
Far from the total compliance they were expecting and demanding.
It appears new uncovered recent immigration scandal uproar letting "brides of ISIS" (partners and kids of known terrorists" back in under some secret Federal repatriation deal with Syria, BS backdoor loophole has blown sky high.
These people have absolutely no right to any passport or place back here on Aussie Soil 10 years on......... They chose Syria and their cause and can stop there.
Majority public want blood and the Woke Feds leaders heads on sticks.
The masses are pissed getting their pitch forks and hatchets ready for the next Federal Election.

Well the battle against draconian gun laws continues with a State election in South Australia in 3 weeks.
The standing Woke Uniparty have released a cryptic policy statement saying they have no "current plans" to alter standing gun laws.
That rings alarm bells as current becomes "yes" once re elected. Chances are high of this happening but not in a sweeping margin like last time as there is serious opposition putting up a fight this time.Being aligned with the sitting Feds you could expect immense pressure to be applied make this happen.
This is an administration that banned and legislated against bow hunting in a secret motion sitting that excluded public comment or Senate debate.
However it's been interesting that so much opposition to "ram down throat" gun laws through public and political pressures has now forced them to back away from the instant apply as what was expected some months back.
Definately some political fence sitting going on here.

You won't see me doing any fence sitting that's for sure. My mind is already set on the new player who has publically stated their policy on anti open immigration, sensible gun policy and castle law stance on your right to defend yourself .
Sitting Government is sneaky and seen the rise of the new comer so by stealing bits and pieces of policy ideas and watering down to useless with wokeness they are having a bet each way to snare any brainless voting sheep.

Well the State election for South Australia is coming up soon so this should be a test of where the Country is headed and how much the firearms related stupidity and policy of last few months has had on how voters are thinking.
The current fuel and shortage issues have diverted lot of heat a different way lately so remains to see if the earlier momentum continues.
Shooters and Gun Owners haven't forgotten the ill treatment and arrogance of the Uniparty setup here so remains to see what unfolds.

Well the State Election has has come and gone. The standing Labor administration (woke left) was returned as expected as they held a strangle hold.
However the new player ‘One Nation ” our shooters hope ………performed way better than anticipated and took a heap of votes and seats off everybody to leapfrog the pack and effectively become the standing State opposition. Now there is actually somebody and numbers of credibility to question and debate rather than things get automatically passed unchallenged.
More seriously with the amount of bled votes and movement this has shown that Federally they are a serious force now and have moved to just one percentage point behind the standing Federal Administration as preferred leaders of the country.

What does this mean for shooters and gun owners, collectors etc of Australia ?
Hope…. as they are openly pro gun on their policies and sensible enough to realise and see how many pissed off gun people have voted for them.

The next big test coming is another State Election in Victoria. Standing left is not so strong here and have been embroiled in a number of controversies, corruption allegations and bad decisions that have left the State financially drained. People are not happy with performance at all.
This is a strong State for shooter representation and ‘woke left’ being really public dented and beat up are not saying much about their views on guns and immigration even with Federal pressure in background to change things.
There is now the reality of them being completely outed by “One Nation” which if this happens would change the Australian political landscape forever.
Let’s see what happens here into the future.

In Canada, Alberta is seriously considering independence from the Providences due to the many differences from that of Ontario and Quebec. Primarily in the supporting the policies that do not align with the rest of the sane population (i.e. taxation without representation).

Perhaps that's something your part of the country could bring to the table? After all, descendants of a penal colony (as you have pointed out) shouldn't be too shy of bending/breaking the law in their favor.

What's the worst that will happen? Send you back to England?

Yes I have seen that going on within Canada too. Who knows what the future holds . We only have a small population in comparison, there is only 25 million here for whole place which equals same population as NYC. What is evident from latest in politics events is if people get their act together as was shown there is good chance of outing the present bad Federal administration which are on a mission to disarm us completely .
Least new player is favourable on continued private gun ownership and leaving things alone. They seem ok with call for castle law right to defend your home from intrusion which is a plus also as we are suddenly experiencing high levels of home invasion. Unfortunately the current laws openly favor the intruders and criminals rights against any form of retribution or force from a home owner. You do something in defence with ‘excessive force’ spotlight is on you to prove otherwise or you get a cell too.
Excessive force is seen as any force applied that is deemed greater than presented by any intruder. Eg kids kick your door down armed with a machete and you respond and happen to clout one with a baseball bat your charged and likely face a judge too in court and run risk end up in a cell too. CRAZY
Their primary focus is closing the door on open immigration in which standing Federal Administration opened the gate to anybody and everybody without adequate security checking which resulted in open Dec 2025 terrorist attacks and run away antisemitism in the streets that needs stamping out.
The floodgates were open without any thought to housing, employment and infrastructure which has now created inflation and highest home ownership costs in world.

Gees nobody in their right mind wants to go to “England” weather stinks. that’s why heaps of Britts emigrated to here after ww2 to get away. it’s who has arrived lately without adequate security and background checks and hiding in sleeper cells is the problem.

Interesting change of events got broadcast last night where a gun lobby group is set to legal challenge the standing Government of NSW (New South Wales) over freedom of information conspiracy surrounding events prior to Dec 2025 terror attack.

Would appear a suppression order was applied to a freedom of public information in effort to hide an open collaborative disarming approach by various law government bodies and allow draconian legislation to be drawn up and put on shelf awaiting an "opportunity" to enact in which it could be let loose and applied in an instant which is exactly what happened.
Initially denied as BS by government a independent hearing tribunal has now ruled in favour for an action to proceed in tabling the suppressed documents for public scrutiny.
Should this action be successful it would openly demonstrate collusion at highest commissioner levels to pervert a course action from public knowledge and comment.
Very damming stuff if it comes to light for a State and Federal Administration straining under pressure for their "railroad ramit down your throat approach".
Gun lobby are asking for go funds from shooting public and lot have responded in 24 hrs to add to the war chest.
If it is indeed true and deliberately hidden and knowingly manipulating people's public rights that's the type of conspiracy that topples administrations.
Stay tuned to see if this gets traction.

Well I had full intention of posting a letter from Shooters Union Australia (pro shooting lobby) to do with a Government scam where they are using taxpayers money to offer $35 voucher if you participate in a manipulated survey which is being used against firearms owners.
Now as much as the Administrator and I tried getting it up for all to read it was receiving special attention and interference under the all new Australian freedom of speech and internet carrier censorship laws allegedly aimed at filtering and protection under 16"s on internet from exposure to bad things like porn and on line gambling but picks up on various programmed topics the Government likes to monitor like "gun talk"
I had hoped to provide to people just how far the government here is prepared to go with underhanded tactics to try justify their draconian approach to the laws they zapped everybody with. I even received one of these surveys myself and the pro shooting groups published a letter advising of the poison survey and how the questions were trick linked to commenting on domestic violence which under laws here is provocative to kick your doors down on suspicion and take guns off people on provo that they might suspect you of being a domestic violence purp.
Rest assured I am completely against domestic violence but what an underhanded approach in the ongoing war against gun owners down under and disguised behind so called public feedback survey to gauge shooters " feelings" towards a forced buyback.
Shame on Australia Labor Government and hope they are kicked out sooner than later.
Stay tuned as the fights continue to try keep your guns.

Some more update to add on the latest round "Federal Gun Buyback" down under.
The so called announcement and release of details date of March 31 been and gone with zero comment from Government.
Would appear lot of hurdles in terms of public perception, 3 billion cost and opinion polls have taken place since the knee jerk "this is what's happening" announcements in January this year. Crickets...... Media and Gun lobby turning up the heat now. You had a grand plan to compensate where is it ?
The political focus has shifted off guns as our Feds announced we're about to live like the "Flinstones" as we run out of fuel. That's another story of bad management of our resources by a chain of successive administrations. Unbelievable position as one of the richest resource countries in the world.

Something new and positive to report.

The small third pro gun player in the politics front has pulled off another astounding win in a safe "bi election seat" that was safely held by major player for last 80 years. Did it with a 36 percent lead swing.
Political commentators on TV actually acknowledged the gun laws debacle handling and public treatment of shooters in January has started a National public swing distrust against the sitting Government and Opposition Uniparty setup. No surprise there........
Country is starting to wake up and fed up of all the BS.

46 years in law enforcement, never saw a criminal turn in a firearm voluntarily. When new congressmen/women and senators are sworn in over here they take an oath to defend the Constitution. After they get in the first thing the liberals want to do is change it. If the lawyers and legislators worried more about the victims of crime than the criminals we would be way ahead. Enforce the laws already on the books before any new ones are passed. Keep the violent criminals in jail where they belong.
