The inner corner has a little rust about 3" long on both sides, rest of rocker panel is solid with no rust, so I will chemically treat with Eastwood Rust converter. It is a clear spray that bonds to the rust, stopping it from spreading. It has been applied. When dried it will turn black/purple. Then it can be coated with Rust encapsulator plus, then the outer cab corner can be welded back in place. Once truck is done, I will coat the inside of rockers with cavity spay. They should never rust again.

Ok looking at the computer and stumbled across what is called the" Pitch Drop Experiment". This is pretty neat deal. Guess where it's at? Yep, down under in Auzzie's back yard.
Auzzie please tell me you know about this. This thing has lots of followers, so guess I'm not the only weird duck out there.

Ranger you obviously have way too much time on your hands..... Hope your not going to sit there and wait......
Yes it's very local to me down the road.
Given being involved in the "Black" industry I just had to ask our Lab guy. It's all true.
Pitch occurs naturally in certain places like Jamaica and this test is to determine its "stiffness" and suitability for extraction then with airation and later conversion to a viscosity graded bitumen as a binder ingredient in asphalt.
I am guessing 1927 was about the infancy of paved roads here and this may have been directed towards that technology someway.

I won't be watching and waiting for the next drop. I just thought it was cool. Neat how it's still going on. I try to entertain myself with these interesting tid bits of information. Today's info is about the alligator rifle used in Ukraine. Now that is a bad boy. Sure wish I could have a go with that. If I was younger and no kids, I would travel that way.

Where are the explosives? Do we need to change your avatar to pink lilies?

Rust chemical fully boned to the rust and extra protection applied. No cab corners can be welded in.

    Shooting at the club today.

Started off with a conceal carry pistol shoot. Paper target at 10- yards. 4 center mass and 2 in the head. Then moving out to 25-yards, 5 steel targets, ring them all and move to the 50 -yard steel.

Seems the majority are shooting Glocks and S&W M&P's, followed by some Sigs, CZ's a few wheel guns. I'd say more than 60% had red dot sights on thier carries. Times they are a changin'.

Afterwards shot a couple rounds of trap at the practice field.

Wednesday is centerfire day. I need to sight-in a M1a, rifled slug pump gun and a 223 wylde. Always fun to shoot something different.

Be nothing better than playing around blowing up stuff to make this job faster and easier, but the arrival of the SWAT team and cuffs puts me off.
Back early 90s things on the homestead were simple and different era then and I launched a few tree stumps into orbit that my avatar would have been proud of.

Just got back from weeks vacation. Better half and I went to Rock Hall, Md. It's on the eastern shore right on Chesapeake Bay. Stayed at a favorite bed and breakfast. Lots of great seafood and relaxation.
