Anybody interested there is a post over on Shotgunworld in Browning area guy asking for assistance in identifying his Double Auto and exactly what it is. .
Its very unusual that it is a early model clean skin blued steel receiver with absolutely no engraving at all Even stranger has no extra rivert in forend to identify it as early run item yet has all the ingredients including open curved round knob stock. It looks like as new condition and been an estate safe queen.
Lots of images of barrel and action stampings suspect Belgium but weird serial no with no C prefix. May be a pre production prototype of some kind. Very unusual.
Kind of puzzle and cool markings your into Rudolph.

Ah, if only it was an Auto-5! My interest in shotgun minutia begins and ends there.
