Hi Guys I was replacing the action spring on my A5 for a new one and I have managed to lose the action spring plug pin. Have spent the last hour on my hands and knees looking but I cant find it. I am thinking I can make one as its only a small pin to hold the plug in but wanted to know if anyone new what the size of it should be? Just thinking of cutting down a nail or pin for now until I get a proper one, but want to use the gun this weekend! Thank you
Wingman, Thank you for my morning chuckle. I've spent a lot of time doing the exact same thing -- but usually it's not for a part that's so easily replaced. I'd cut down a nail and never think about again. While you're in there, how does the wooden plug look? If it's soft and oil-soaked you should replace it with a new plastic one, or make your own from a dowel. http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/PROD/B1111ASP http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/PROD/B1111005
Hi Rudolph31 good morning! I am glad to have amused you! I guess alot of people are laughing at us Brits this morning! Yes I thought the same thing will leave the cut down nail and leave it be.
Laughing at the Brits? I was going to congratulate you on reclaiming your national sovereignty! It amazes me that 48% voted to be ruled by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels.
I just saw that Brussels was dictating what size HAIRDRYERS and TOASTERS you could use. It's the nature of bureaucracies to progressively micromanage more and more facets of everyday life. It's 1776 in the UK. Go out and celebrate!
