I have two Belgium made A-5 shotguns, new in box. One is a light 20 guage, the other is a 12 guage. I tried to get the page to come up to give me the dating for these guns with no success. The 20 serial number is S95339 and the 12 serial number is VM67583. Can someone help me with manufacturer date of these two guns? Also would like to know the approximate value. Thanks

Please don't shoot your "Light Twenty". Because it's actually a Sweet Sixteen, made in 1957. All 20 gauge Auto-5s made prior to 1977 will have a one (1958-67) or two (1968-76) digit date code a long with a "Z" prefix to the serial number. See here:

"V" is the prefix for the 12 gauge magnum. "M" is for the standard gun. So since your 12 obviously can't be both, I think you need to take another look.
