    The checkering is the hardest part if you ask me. I am working on the last stock I bought and it’ll need to be re cut. I’m looking for somebody that can do it for me

    Wish I could help you out. I don’t have the patience. My local gunsmith refinished and cut the cheering on my zoli and it looks great. It was 300. He said he put 18 coats of true oil on it. He’s a pretty decent guy so don’t think he would lie.

    It looks amazing. He said cutting the checkering was a bitch. Kind of weird deal, the name of the place is Mac Daddy Guns and Cigars. And yes he sells them too, and you can still smoke one inside the shop. He’s for sure an old school gunsmith. He also done some cerakote on some barrels that another person tried to rust blue. They also looked very good
