I am trying to figure out what model I have. It is a 28" 12ga that will shoot 2-3/4, 3 & 3-1/2" shells according to the barrel. I cannot find a model that matches up with the serial number. Help please. Here is the s/n 22811ZZ131
Hello and welcome. My go-to source (http://www.nramuseum.org/media/940941/serialization-date of manufacture.pdf) shows no model code 131. The ZZ decodes to 11 so your gun was made in 2011. I'd call Browning. tel:+1-801-876-2711
Thanks for the phone number Rudolph. The 131 code means Citori and Browning is putting it on a lot of shotguns. This gun is made only for Dick's. It is a Satin Hunter Grade 1 with an English stock.
