Well, I think the last time I owned a .22 was in 1978, but I've wanting a handgun to plink with, as well as something I could use to instruct first time shooters in safety and handling. Today I was at. A favorite LGS looking at the Rutgers and Smiths, when I saw a used Browning Buckmark for $300. It had minimal visible wear, and one spot on the barrel where it looks like a fingertip touched the finish and just started to pit. So I took it into the range and put 50 rounds through it and loved it. It's now mine, unless DW takes control of it. A little research shows it was manufactured in '86. '85 would have endeared it to me a bit more, but hey - it was a whim purchase. So, I'm a happy camper...
