Received my new Buck Mark Contour yesterday and did the first break down, clean and lube. Watched several videos before I attempted it. I was very surprised at how tight the top screws and the barrel retaining screw was. They had thread lock on all of them. I had to use a heat gun on the barrel screw to get it to break loose. I put so much torque on the screw that I really thought that I was going to break the allen wrench or strip the head before it started to turn. But in the end all turned out well. I also did the spring flip while I was in there. Really wanting to shoot it and see if it lives up to all they hype.

Finally!! I got to the range and put 200 rounds through my new Countour. Sweet Gun! Took about 20 rounds to zero the Buck Mark red dot, and it was smooth sailing after that. Had one Fail to lock back after last round fired, but that well could have been me and not the gun. The trigger is really great after the spring flip. First round kind of surprised me.
