Model 1885 Browning High Wall, Hammer extender

I have an 1885 Browning High Wall in .45-70, octagon barrel. (not the BPCR) After purchasing and having a new scope mounted, there is not a lot of room between the scope and the hammer. My thumb does fit and I can cock the hammer. Does anyone know of a hammer extender that will fit on the spur of the hammer? The ones I have seen in Brownell's or Midway seem to be firearm specific. I did not see anything on Midwest's website. Any help will be appreciated. I would prefer not to buy a new set of higher scope mounts.

While examining my rifle yesterday I answered my own question. When cocking the lever, the hammer goes completely down into the action. If I decide I can't work with the space, a higher set of rings will be in order. Thanks anyway.

I’d call MGW before I ordered the new rings. You never know.

Took the High Wall to the range and try it out yesterday. Just took a bit of adjustment on my part. I put a 2 -10x Burris Signature HD on it. Rifle really shot excellent. 45-70 shooting 325 gr. Leverlution bullets. Shot 1" groups at 100 yds. Maybe a bit smaller. 3 shots touching. (Cloverleaf) Just have to put my thumb on a diet. The eyepiece on the Burris is fatter that my old Redfield.
