I took my .308 BLR on a hog hunting trip this weekend. My son and I went to small high fence operation in Pennsylvania. Nice father/son hunt and the BLR was great. Its such a pleasure to get another round in the chamber with a flick of lever. And it points well. Really good for hogs, which is often fast action, in close.

This one went 225 pounds. My son got one slightly larger. Pork will be on the menu for some time!
