Howdy all, making my obligatory intro. My first firearm was an old Belgian Hi power I bought almost thirty years ago. A beautiful gun ruined by an incompetent gunsmith, but that's a sad tale for another day and another thread. Fast forward to this past thanksgiving. I really love 1911s, but I could never carry my full sized Government Model without some kind of frequent flyer card from my favorite chiropractor. In my hunt for a true 1911 (not a lookalike) that I could actually carry, I happened to stumble onto the 1911-380, just pure coincidence. I was smitten by the Black Label Medallion Pro...what a stunningly beautiful handgun. Dontcha know I caught it on a crazy cheap Black Friday weekend sale. Mine! That has now become the subject of yet another sad story, also for another day and another thread. I wish I'd found this forum sooner. D Dave
