As the title states, post up anything related to deer hunting and your Browning.
Look like pretty nice size deer. nice shootin...
Those are two good looking bucks! Nice job.
Good to see father and son hunts!
Thats some fine looking deer! Congrats!
Nice shooting Luke Duke...!!
Was able to fill my tag here in NY last weekend, not a trophy deer but definitely a unique one. 3 point antler on his left side and the other antler sticking straight out the side of his head. will try to post some pictures up this weekend of it.
Just one of the many mulies that met my old BBR .300 Win Mag
Great looking mule Ken, how far did you take it down from?
Just around 200 yards - wide open country with very little cover. Old Browning always does her part if I do mine...
very nice. Here in NY be lucky to get a 100yd shot without trees, rocks, etc.. in the way.
Sounds like you taught her well and great first buck.
How has everyone's season gone so far this year?
Management doe, A-Bolt 30-06 177 yds through the neck.
Not this past season but 2013, this buck was shot with my A-bolt chambered in .280 rem. So far this season has been a bust, awaiting the rut.
My 358 Win BLR took a decent (weight, not so much antlers) whitetail buck on its first hunt. 36 caliber bullets do a good job of draining the carcass if the deer falls exit side down. The rifle was sighted for 125 yards, the deer was only 30 yards from me, about 100 yards from my pickup & truck camper in my farmyard.
Killed this past weekend with Browning BLR lightweight 81 308
