I purchased my daughter a left hand 300 short magnum semi auto and she has made some great shots however recently she scoped herself a couple of times and doesn’t feel comfortable shooting it any more. Should she just sell it or is it advisable to put on a muzzle brake? Is a brake that effective?
    Ant suggestions would be appreciated!

The couple of muzzle brakes ive had on hunting rifles have helped, but im not sure theyre worth the recoil reduction. I would sell it or keep it for yourself, and get her something she is comfortable shooting. Also, if you get her something in a more traditional caliber, hornady, federal, and remington reduced recoil loads are excellent and provide more versatility for long action and magnum calibers.

could you/she just replace the scope with a different one that has more eye "relief" ??
