I have a 81 lightweight stainless take down and it has fingermarks on the receiver
I have tried to clean them but it looks like I need serious chemicals / mild acid to do this.
What's the best option to use?
It's only fired 80 rounds and looks like shit already

Hey , welcome to the browning owners community!! Have you tried to use any waxes on it to polish out? It's hard to tell in the pick how bad it is but i have seen people use automotive aluminum/stainless steel waxes and cleaners to clean up metal on guns.

I have tried solvents acetone, bore solvents , gun cleaning spray, polish
    I'm looking at mild acid
    Clr, mag wheel cleaner etc
