I swapped the wide checkered shoe for the smooth canted shoe on my CXS; love it and really helps my index finger engage the trigger. Large hands but average finger length; I put the 3 position trigger in full rearward location and the canted shoe is a perfect fit.

Have 2 and got 2 shoes from Midwest for $70 delivered; a nice $35 upgrade to each Citori. [Some models may come with multiple shoes ?]

Maybe try this if you have to stretch to get your finger in the right place; gave me much better control and lighter perceived pull. Don't have any other guns where my trigger finger isn't easily long enough.

I removed the checked trigger and tried the canted smooth one, but didn’t care for it. I went with the smooth straight trigger. I’m glad Browning gives the options so we can all enjoy the 725 they way that works best!
