Butt stock interchangability question.

I all my wanderings around in the A5 world, I see butt stocks sold for the standard (and Light variant) 12 gauge, and then different stocks listed for the 16 and 20. Getting back to the 12 gauge stocks, sometimes I see places advertising a butt stock for a magnum separately from the standard (and Light 12). Other places list them saying that particular stock will fit a standard, (and therefore a Light 12) as well as the 3" magnum model.

Will the A5 butt stock ( 12 gauge) fit the standard AND the magnum model? I do see the magnum butt stocks always have a recoil pad attached, maybe that's why some are sold as being fro a magnum ( 3").

I all the work I have done on A5s over the years, I guess I never came across it. ( And yes, I am fully aware of the difference in standard/magnum fore arms.)
Again, thanks. ( Being a new guy here, I keep thinking of stuff I have always wondered. Work with me on this.)
