Would like some opinions on scopes for my .308 blr. Unlimited budget, I will mostly be hunting woods and some open fields. Most shots will be 75-100 yards, 200 yd shot will probably be the farthest I will be shooting. I was looking at a Swarovski 3-9x36, or possibly trijicon 3-9-40 but would like other opinions. Possibly a leupold vxR. Thanks!
Weaver Super Slam or Tactical. The 1-5x24 Super Slam or Tactical, or the 1-7x24 Tactical dual-focal-plane. 5x is plenty for that range, and I've been extremely happy with my Super Slams. Only 'issue' is that their matte finish doesn't match the polished finish of a BLR so well.
