The old 23-window bus is cool. OTOH, the Sheriff's assault vehicle looks like a taxpayer boondoggle to me.
Military armored F550. And my favorite, the Knight's Conquest XV (also built off of a Ford F550). They also make them in a civilian use vehicle.
Armored trucks seem like money pits UNTIL there is an active shooter like in that tower in TX many years ago or the North Hollywood Shootout. I think many are donated to departments from the military.
