Inherited some lyman carbide dies and was wondering if they are considered high quality. They look really well built. Thanks rick
Yes, in my experience with older Lyman stuff good quality well made. Lyman has been well recognised name in the industry round for a long long time.
Would agree with Auzzie for the old stuff. The new stuff not so much. There are way better dies to be bought today. CH4D, Redding and a few others to name a few
From my experience the current Lyman dies are on a level with RCBS. The competition among that level of die makers is keen. I have some Lee dies and Hornady dies that do me very well. No junk in the lot.
