I am very happy with my 1911-380 and after considerable range testing I am ready to put it into my EDC rotation. I am looking for a good quality, but reasonably priced IWB holster. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I picked up a very comfortable iwb holster from Amazon.com. Search for "SHTF Gear" and "1911-380" and you'll see it.
Rick, I use the SHTF mentioned by TRR and it works fine. I'm 68" and 150 lbs and live in a warm climate so I have to be choosy since everything prints. So far, no worries with this product. Good luck!
I was in the same boat then I found this. http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/Product/SuperTuck-Deluxe You will find the Browning 1911-380 with rail under The Select Gun drop down. I went with the cowhide and combat cut. not exactly inexpensive. I wear it between 4:00 and 5:00 oclock.
I picked up a Garrett IWB (Silent Thunder GT) and am pleased as punch with it. I had a plastic molded one that after a few uses was already starting to mess with the finish on the top of the slide. This holster is a leather/kydex hybrid so it is smooth, quiet and doesn't mess with the finish. http://www.giholsters.com/category-s/387.htm
If you havent found one yet that you like. Get one from black arch holsters. I promise you wont regret it.
