My grandfather passed and left me his shotgun. The title states the info. Also is an acier special. The gun is in great shape but im missing the cartridge stop and the screw or screws for it. The diagram I have looks like it requires two. Also i need the screw that fits right above the safety switch. If anyone can help me or know anyone that has access to original parts for this gun that would be great help. Can pay with paypal or cash in person if you are in florida. Thanks!
Hello Tyler. You've obviously read Sauerfan's posts and know that your cartridge stop is square instead of rounded. I don't think you'll find a source other than buying a parts gun. But I'm guessing that a new part could be fitted without too much trouble. Midwest Gun Works has most parts: http://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/PROD/B111111CS Unfortunately, FN changed to roll pins in the '50s so your screws will have to come from someplace else. If you can't find them, you might be able to make the pins work. Please post pictures of your project--I've never seen a "Type 2" safety.
