A5 16ga Three shot

    I stumbled on a 16 ga Three shot in nice condition except the forearm is cracked at the barrel ring side it would have to be glued and pinned I think the gun was 1937 vintage What would it be worth ?

    Plain barrel 28"
    Modified choke
    bluing 96%

    I'd guess $800-$1000. There's a possibility that it's a Sweet Sixteen--they weren't marked as such until 1948. If so it will have lightening holes in the barrel ring and a lightened receiver. The safety and trigger should also be gold plated but that may have worn off. Post pictures!

    Also, unless converted it will have a 2 9/16" (65mm) chamber. Standard shells will jam. Again, if you post pictures I'll be able to tell.
