I stumbled on a 16 ga Three shot in nice condition except the forearm is cracked at the barrel ring side it would have to be glued and pinned I think the gun was 1937 vintage What would it be worth ? Plain barrel 28" Modified choke bluing 96%
I'd guess $800-$1000. There's a possibility that it's a Sweet Sixteen--they weren't marked as such until 1948. If so it will have lightening holes in the barrel ring and a lightened receiver. The safety and trigger should also be gold plated but that may have worn off. Post pictures! Also, unless converted it will have a 2 9/16" (65mm) chamber. Standard shells will jam. Again, if you post pictures I'll be able to tell.
