using a GraCoil recoil devise on a Superposed with twin single triggers?
Am looking at one if for nothing else but as stock extension.
But would the recoil reduction interfere with a twin single operation?
I look forward to any information that may help.
    Many thanks B.

    Hmm...guess not.
I'll give it a try and let all know.

Can’t say I have the answer but you ask a good question. From my experience that small but definite thump of recoil is necessary.

Bruski you should be ok with a gracoil. I run a PFS setup on my Superposed no problem and inertia sets second trigger fine. A kickeeze pad is also a help.

    Ordered and waiting.
It did dawn on me it was a largely redundant question as I use it as a double trigger gun any way.
But I will install and try it as twin singles and keep you all informed.

Still waiting... haven't heard back yet, should one stir things up?

I will be interested to see how you get on and how well it works for you.

It wouldn't hurt to call and ask for a status update. The hardest part for the client is not knowing what's going-on (if anything). If it has shipped, then ask for a tracking number. Sometimes, well-intended folks drop the ball.

It has arrived, so all going well I'll break out the angle grinder and see about fitting it.
What could possibly go wrong? No, no, all good.

It is on and it is done.
Next stop; practise day next Wed.
    Stay tuned for final report

Looks nice job you have done there. Was the unit itself very heavy?

Not too bad, point of balance about an inch back from hinge pin.
Am happy with the feel of it.
LOP is now 14 7/8" which seems about right.
    Looking forward to practise night.

Thanks for the shoe. Most guys show their bare feet!

That’s interesting balance point. You obviously don’t mind if it’s tail heavy. For me I like it right on the hinge pin for Fitasc sporting and little bit muzzle heavy for American skeet. Tail heavy and they get whippy muzzle for me and then the hands come into play too much.
I used to love shooting my Superposed but being bit crippled and recoil sensitive I am gas auto man now days.

Some how, in spite of going to practise each Wed. since I still have not tried it as a twin single.
Just been having too much fun shooting it. If I can I'll try the trigger next practise.
    Promise. (Fingers crossed).

Finally I can report and happily that twin singles still work with the Gracoil.
Fit and LOP (a hair under 15") are just about perfect.
A top result all round. Well pleased.

Congratulations! Nothing ventured - nothing gained. I’m glad it works properly and you can enjoy the uniqueness of the twin-single trigger design. Thanks for keeping us informed.

    Addenda to the experiment:
1oz @ 1200fps and the twin singles work as they should.
    1oz @ 1150fps and they don't.
