Working on my 30-06 takedown BLR, I wanted to try a scout scope setup. Sort of a low cost approach using a ncstar 2-7x32, which would be about $50 at Amazon. Locally, I spent about $80. I used the Browning BLR base and a set of Weaver medium height rings.
The scope actually is pretty nice, so far. The lighted reticle seems decent. Just testing around my yard, optics seem OK. Eye relief is about 11 inches.
This gun will probably not see anything but a target range.
Would like to setup so that I could retain some iron sights, but will work on that later. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

was able to bore sight the gun a couple of days ago. still took about 10 shots to walk it into reasonable accuracy.
It does wear out the shoulder after about 19 shots[IMG]
