I have a late 60's Bar in 06, really no difference than my newer BARs of different caliber all steel barrels threaded to receivers and all made in Belgium

All the new BAR’s components are manufactured in Belgium but the rifles are assembled in Portugal.
I own a patent pending made in Belgium BAR in 300 win mag. It’s a 1969. I’ve owned a few Japanese made brownings and feel the quality is just as good if not better than the Belgium made firearms. The Japanese made models I’ve owned are the BL22 and a BLR lightning in 300 win mag.
