i am a new member from upstate Ny. I am looking to purchase my first browning rifle next week and am having trouble finding any info on it. It is a secondhand like-new .270 Bpr with a bushnell scope. Belgium made. Just wondering what a good price would be for it. Thanks in advance for any help

Welcome to the Browning Owners Forum !!

    Enjoy our community...

Best way to price out a gun is to visit the auction houses online...

    Gun Broker...Guns America...Guns International...Armslist...etc

Ok thanks. I'll look around again. I only found 1 on gun broker going for $800 awhile back

    Welcome!

If you haven't discovered it yet, you can search Gun Broker (and maybe the others, too?) for completed auctions, so that you can see actual selling prices, rather than just asking prices. It's in the Advanced Search area where you set up that kind of search.

Without a few pictures...it's hard to determine condition...therefore current value.

I passed on a BPR in 308 at $650 and regret doing so

Old thread I know, did you end up buying that BPR?

    Troy,

If you touch a member’s name, a window will open showing, among other things, the last time he visited. And since the OP hasn’t visited for over 4 years, he’s unlikely to see your post.

If you really want to get in touch with him, you can send him a private message. That will forward to his email.

Gotcha, thanks! Figured it was a long shot.
