Hello, I am relatively new to this site but have been a big Browning fan for a long time. My first deer rifle was an A-bolt Stainless Stalker in 30.06 that I bought new in 1991. I still have that rifle and it is my go to rifle though I've owned many others since.

I have the adjustable trigger lightened as far as it will go and though it breaks cleanly, it is still not as light as I would like. I haven't scaled it but I'm guessing it's around 4+ pounds. What are you guys doing to get the triggers on your a-bolts a little better? Have a smith work on it or an aftermarket trigger or spring? I've never really looked into it but figure some of you guys have done the homework for me. Any help would be appreciated. Jeff

I had a gunsmith work mine while he was doing a cut and recrown job. It breaks at 2.5lbs and is extremely crisp.

I installed the lighter trigger spring on my a-bolt, adjusted the setting all the way down. It pulls at just under 2 pounds
