    Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum. A week ago I purchased a new Citori 725 Sporting High Rib. The gun is still unfired. The problem I have is opening it. I actually have to press on the lever with 2 thumbs until it snaps open. I have contacted Browning and told this is normal until broke in. Any thoughts on this?

I have opened and shouldered countless O/U's, never anything like this. BTW, when I insert snap caps, it sometimes won't close without all of the way.

    Thanks
    Lucille

    Welcome Luci...

I would take a little oil and place it in that lever area...then work it in by operating the latch and opening and closing it as much as possible.

Sounds like you've just got a tight one. It will work it's way loose as the round count goes up. My Rx is as follows.
    Shoot it. Enjoy it.
