Hi All! I'm just recently getting back into hunting as I want to have one last fling before I get too old...'Too old?' you might say, but then you most likely haven't see the mountainous terrain we have to hunt in! I went out for the first time with a friend last week end to get some ground time, and shot a few feral goats with his single shot Bergara Scout. I wanted to get off a second shot on a mob of goats, but my reloading skills were't that good. Thats when I decided to have a look for something repeatable, short, light and weather proof. It was a no brainer decision over the Henry Longranger ( too long, unavailable in stainless steel) and the Marlin 3030 ( none available due to being cheaper) The BLR was like Goldilocks said, 'Ahhh, just right!' So here I am, waiting for delivery with sweaty hands!
